Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of internists, specialists, and medical staff at Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a traditional medicine setting, as well as in concierge, prospective care, and regenerative/longevity medicine and research.
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide medical assistance under the supervision of a physician, physician's assistant, or nursing staff.
You will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording weight, blood pressure, and blood, administering injections, and documenting patient information.
Additionally, you will ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked, sterilize and clean medical equipment, and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
You will also provide positive customer relations, train new employees and Medical Assistant students, and adhere to department/hospital policies.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Medical Assistant with a beginning to working knowledge of the subject, a degree from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program, and 1-3 years of experience.
CMA certification through an accredited certified medical assistant program is required.
You must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, stand for extended periods, and assist patients with mobility or transfers.
You may be exposed to patients with infectious diseases, and you must be able to stay composed and focused during emergency situations or when dealing with stressed or anxious patients.
