Urologist Job Description

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a skilled Urologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with urological conditions, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and perform urological procedures and surgeries.
  • Clinical Research and Education: Engage in clinical research, stay current with the latest research and advancements in urology, and educate and mentor medical residents and fellows.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, communicate effectively with patients and their families, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Training: Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Urology.
  • Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in urology preferred.
