As a CT Technologist at Efficus, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and performing diagnostic CT exams, managing the workflow of the department, and assisting with the completion of work assignments. You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of all CT examinations, utilizing high-pressure injectors and 3D computer equipment, and monitoring inventory of supplies. Additionally, you will need to correctly and accurately document patient information using computer systems and maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team. You will also be required to abide by image quality assurance, radiation safety, infection control standards, and universal precautions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all radiographic CT examinations according to client protocols.
- Demonstrate use of radiation safety practices when using the CT equipment.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new employees and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain knowledge of all CT examinations.
- Demonstrate ability to utilize high-pressure injector.
- Demonstrate ability to utilize 3D computer equipment.
- Perform all general diagnostic radiology examinations.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and notify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low.
- Correctly and accurately document patient information using computer systems.
- Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Implement and maintain established department and hospital policies and procedures.
- Abide by image quality assurance, radiation safety, infection control standards, and universal precautions.
- Role model the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
- One year of experience preferred, experience in a healthcare setting required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Computed Tomography (CT) credentials required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
