Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, partnership, and corporate filings.
  • Organize and manage tax-related documentation.
  • Assist in responding to tax inquiries and examinations.
  • Support tax audit processes, conduct preliminary research, and review financial data.
  • Maintain proficiency in the tax software utilized within the firm.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a Master’s in Taxation is advantageous.
  • Planning to fulfill the 150 credit hours required for CPA eligibility.
  • General understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations across various taxation areas.
  • Ability to apply fundamental accounting principles to client engagements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within team settings.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and GoFileRoom is a plus.
