Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a proactive operating group with a focus on monitoring, technical execution, and customer service.
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the Operations Support Group, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and advocating for improvements.
  • Lead technical staff in executing complex facilities operations, with expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Water Systems.
  • Enforce policies, develop procedures, and plan resource allocation to support daily planned and unplanned activities.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and career development to personnel, improving performance and managing on-shift escalations.
  • Act as incident commander during facility excursions, analyze complex problems, and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience, with 4+ years in critical operations of complex systems.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk for 10+ hours daily, lift 10-20 lbs, and work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage, and hazardous environments.
  • Capable of obtaining OSHA 30 certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Discern audible/visual alarms and work with hazardous materials.
  • Support and/or work shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication skills, and high tolerance for change.
