Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Product Inspector to join our team at Manitou Madison SD. As a Product Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating machines against documented acceptance criteria and typical market standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under stressful conditions and tight deadlines.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to develop an understanding of how things work. You will work closely with the assembly quality engineer to assign daily activities and direct quality issues through the area supervisor.

Responsibilities

* Evaluate machines against documented acceptance criteria and typical market standards
* Record results in established logs and databases
* Perform minor rework as required and directed
* Provide feedback to supervision and management on product quality

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, checklists, and other documents
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work under stressful conditions and tight deadlines
