Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure that our customers receive accurate and timely medication dispensing, while also providing a positive and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication lists
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
