We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Advanced Practice Professional to join our team at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of complex cardiac conditions, including cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and cardiac surgery pre- and post-operative care.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct clinical services for critically ill patients according to established protocols and utilizes evidence-based clinical practice standards.
- Assesses, diagnoses, and manages patients with acute cardiac conditions, including cardiogenic shock, MCS devices, LVAD, and ECMO.
- Develops and implements treatment plans in collaboration with the advanced heart failure, cardiology, and cardiac surgery teams.
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner: MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
