Job Title: Travel Psychiatric Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Psychiatric Nurse RN to join our team at Tact Staff. As a Travel Psychiatric Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Travel Psychiatric Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric and addiction disorders. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 1 year of experience in a psychiatric or addiction treatment setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Chemical Dependency Professional (CPI) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Work Environment:

The Travel Psychiatric Nurse RN will work in a 36-bed behavioral health facility with three 12-hour day shifts per week. The facility has a low violence rate and a strong focus on patient-centered care.
