At Lorven Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) and adhering to the State of Mississippi Enterprise Security Policy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain agency-specific security plans, policies, and procedures.
- Interact with the State Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) as the primary contact for security-related issues.
- Ensure the agency is adhering to the State of Mississippi Enterprise Security Policy.
- Participate in state information security threat intelligence feeds.
- Research IT industry trends and security-related issues affecting our agency.
- Monitor security applications, activity logs, resources, and issues within the agency using approved security software and hardware.
- Facilitate the State Auditor's Information Systems Audit and any Third-Party Risk Assessments.
- Manage the agency's Vulnerability Management and Supply Chain risk programs.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity, including 2+ years in leadership.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
- Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) certification.
- Technical experience with Security Toolset Areas: Patch/Vulnerability Management, EDR/XDR, Microsoft Defender 365, Supply Chain Monitoring, and SIEM/SOAR.
- Experience leading or participating in security program development, revision, and continuous improvement activities.
- Governmental data modernization or project management experience.
- AI/ML development experience in cybersecurity initiatives.
