Job Overview

River City Construction is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction efforts, you will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role requires strong organizational skills, good time management, and the ability to work well with others. You should have a sense of selflessness, humility, and an enterprise-first mentality, as well as emotional and social intelligence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting construction efforts and working collaboratively with other company departments to carry projects through carefully planned preconstruction efforts for on-time delivery and within budget.

Key functions include:

  • Project Management Support: Consistently apply discipline to contribute to a highly functioning team dynamic while working collaboratively with Project Managers.
  • Project Team: Utilize the latest technology to improve communication, document control, and quality, while working with onsite Client Representatives to coordinate project details.
  • Field Project Focus: Resolve field construction problems in coordination with onsite agencies, attend progress meetings, and develop status reports.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 0-4+ years of experience desired
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field ideal
  • Certifications/Licenses (OSHA 10 required)
Estimated Salary Range

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
