Job Details

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Upper Marlboro, MD to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Speech/Language Pathologist, School Experience: New Grad Accepted Licenses: SLP-MD Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field State SLP License in State of Maryland - Must have license prior to submitting candidates Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Professional Education Licensure (PEL) School Support Personnel Endorsements
