Position Overview:

Schneider is looking for a dedicated Transportation Planner based in Green Bay. This role involves aligning available drivers and equipment with customer shipments within a designated geographical area. The Transportation Planner will collaborate closely with teams across operations, customer service, sales, and pricing to ensure effective load planning and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize market analytics to inform profit-driven decisions.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to guarantee timely freight delivery.
  • Work in partnership with various teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Examine shipping patterns to uncover opportunities for enhancement within your geographical area.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in transportation or truck dispatch is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of collaborating with diverse teams.
