Role Summary

The Value Stream Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Production Manager to enhance continuous improvement processes within a stable value stream, from procurement to delivery. This position is instrumental in achieving key performance indicators related to safety, quality, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mentor, train, and empower a versatile team of associates in alignment with Andersen Corporation's values and strategic goals, fostering a respectful workplace.
  • Monitor production schedules to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met through established protocols and training in operational and inspection methods.
  • Implement customer-centric processes in line with lean methodologies, providing training and coaching to enhance standard work practices and workplace organization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to question existing processes and propose enhancements.
  • Guide associates in understanding company policies and procedures, addressing process-related challenges to improve team performance.
  • Engage with associates daily to discuss work center performance, strategic initiatives, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with fellow supervisors and support teams on equipment management, safety, scheduling, and performance improvement strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proven ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in manufacturing operations with a solid grasp of manufacturing principles.
  • Ongoing education in Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Manufacturing, Leadership, or Coaching.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Lean certification is a plus.
