A dynamic and expanding financial services firm is in search of a skilled Senior Bookkeeping Specialist to join their dedicated team. This role encompasses overseeing comprehensive financial functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
** We are also seeking a candidate with a flair for social media management. **
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconciling cash flow, bank accounts, and revenue streams
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger and making necessary adjustments
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Monitoring the organization’s cash flow
- Issuing invoices and managing customer payments
- Preparing tax documentation and generating monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Gathering information for auditing purposes
- Processing invoices, payments, and payroll
- Collaborating with team members on budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with social media management tasks, including content creation and scheduling
- Staying informed on the latest trends in accounting and social media
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-charge bookkeeping role
- At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for social media and experience in managing social media accounts
- Experience in the media industry or with content creators
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
- Knowledge of graphic design or video editing software
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 (based on a standard 40-hour work week)
