Position Summary:

The role of the Service Technician / WellPoint Installer is vital to our operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for our clients, showcasing the advantages and quality of the equipment provided by Holland Pump. The technician is expected to maintain a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices while representing the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up rental pumps and WellPoint systems, providing customers with comprehensive instructions on equipment operation.
  • Conduct breakdown and retrieval of rental equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and assessment of equipment condition.
  • Perform daily onsite service calls to troubleshoot and resolve minor service issues, adhering to established response protocols.
  • Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call service rotation as scheduled by the Service Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the branch shop and grounds, ensuring all company vehicles are in safe and operational condition.
  • Engage in general labor tasks as needed, including yard maintenance and shop cleaning.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade apprenticeships are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in pump operations or WellPointing is preferred.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory.
