We are seeking an experienced Injury Prevention Coordinator to join our team at HR Recruiting Services. This role will involve developing and implementing injury prevention programs for athletes, providing on-site first aid and emergency care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for injured athletes.

About the Role

As an Injury Prevention Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive sports medicine services, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. You will work closely with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and performance of athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized injury prevention programs for athletes, including stretching, conditioning, and strength training exercises.
  2. Provide on-site first aid and emergency care for injured athletes during practices and competitions.
  3. Evaluate and treat acute and chronic injuries using various modalities and techniques, such as taping, bracing, and therapeutic exercises.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for injured athletes.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of injuries, treatments, and progress of athletes.
  6. Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention, proper nutrition, and other health-related topics.
  7. Assist with the organization and implementation of sports medicine programs and events.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in athletic training techniques and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • Current state licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer, preferably in a sports organization.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
