Job Title: Caregiver Advocate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Advocate to join our team at the Department of Economic Security (DES). As a Caregiver Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our members with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to members, promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and strategies to meet the unique needs of each member.
• Encourage development of new skills and maintain present skills through therapeutic recommendations and activities.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age and able to read and write English.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
