Job Summary

Trademark Property Company is seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Routinely inspect facilities, diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, and plumbing systems, as well as structural elements.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance activities, including monthly fire pump and generator testing, to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal system performance.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on pumps in the central plant and parking garages, supply and exhaust fans, and clean cooling towers twice a year.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and maintain cleanliness of property.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist other departments, including marketing, with event setup and provide support as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Perform job duties in accordance with all applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory systems, records, files, safety data sheets, supplies, equipment, and tools are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical school certifications and/or training preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of building maintenance experience performing carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents, plans, and schematic drawings; comprehend instructions; and effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • License and Certification: Valid Driver's License.
