Job Title: Young Toddler Teacher

At Primrose School of Mason, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher at our school, you will play a vital role in helping young minds explore, discover, and understand the world around them.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and provide individualized support.
  • Plan and execute engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive classroom environment that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Infant - Preschool Teachers: 2-year degree in early childhood or related field preferred.
  • Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: 4-year degree in early childhood or related field required.
  • Kindergarten Teacher: 4-year degree in early childhood and certified to teach in the state in which the school operates required.
