Liberty Hospice Travel Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Hospice Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Hospice. As a Hospice Travel RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families in a compassionate and dignified manner.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on hospice care. They will be responsible for coordinating patient care, communicating with families and healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and support in a hospice setting
  • Coordinate care with families, patients, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
