  • Utilize advanced respiratory care techniques, including ventilator management and medical gas therapy, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other department associates, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
  • Continuously evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program
  • Current Iowa Respiratory Care practitioner (RCP) license
  • Active National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
