We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at IU Health Bedford Hospital. As a Travel Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field
  • Experience with CT scanners and other imaging equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license or passport
Work Environment

As a Travel Radiologic Technologist at IU Health Bedford Hospital, you will work in a busy critical access hospital that serves the emergency department, intensive care unit, medical/surgical units, and walk-in clinic. You will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient areas.

  • Only American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is accepted
  • Proof of valid auto insurance required for all travelers under Hospice specialty
  • Online verification of license through primary source (IN.gov) within 30 days before start date
