About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department
  • Responsible for patient safety protocols and ensuring the successful accomplishment of imaging needs
  • Use Trophon equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and document the process according to policy
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper identification is recorded
  • Complete and concise clinical notes to help radiologists

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required
  • One year of imaging experience
  • Prefer specific experience and training in Ultrasound
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Current BLS certification
