Job Overview

Midtown Table is a dynamic Italian-inspired restaurant serving lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
  • Plate prepared foods according to menu specifications
  • Ensure food is properly stored and rotated, and adhere to safe food handling standards
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef de Cuisine in an open kitchen environment
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a restaurant Line Cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Exceptional knife skills and strong product knowledge
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
  • Basic food safety understanding and practice
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members
