Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Shift Preparation: Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, and linens, to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear tables of used dishes, glasses, and silverware, and re-set between customers to maintain a clean and efficient service environment.
  • Supporting Service Staff: Assist servers with maintaining non-alcoholic beverages for all guests, and help to ensure that all tables are fully stocked and ready for service.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room, server stations, patio, and dish pit, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Glassware Delivery: Deliver cleaned glassware from the dish area to the appropriate location in the front of the house.
  • Guest Experience: Assist service staff in providing the best possible guest experience, including answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation rules and practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
  • Professional Appearance: Present a professional and clean appearance at all times, including wearing the required uniform and maintaining good personal hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Attitude and Demeanor: A helpful attitude and friendly demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sanitation and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices, with the ability to follow all safety and sanitation rules and practices.
  • Availability: Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
