Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Ink Specialist to join our team at INX International Ink. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our ink manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Blending: Follow batch instructions to weight batches, charge, and mix inks to ensure consistent quality and color.
  • Raw Material Management: Understand and follow proper mixing procedures and raw material handling to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Temperature and Speed Control: Monitor and adjust temperature and mix speeds as needed to optimize ink production.
  • Milling and Packaging: Follow procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates, and packaging finished products.
  • Quality Control: Make QC adjustments as instructed to ensure product meets quality standards.
  • Material Handling: Weigh quantities of raw materials for use in manufacturing high-quality printing ink.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate one or more mixers to mix raw materials for manufacturing high-quality printing ink.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Package finished products and prepare for shipping.
  • Material Movement: Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Skills: Basic math, communication, and mechanical logic skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Experience: Previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months preferred.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience preferred.
  • Availability: Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
