Job Summary
Tulane University is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join its Neurology Department as a Clinical Track, Instructor. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the development of innovative clinical and research programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuity of care and lifestyle coaching to patients at risk for Alzheimer's disease and those with memory disorders, Parkinson's disease, and other movement disorders.
- Collaborate with neurology physicians to ensure high-quality patient care, adhering to standards of practice and regulations.
- Participate in clinical research studies, departmental conferences, and institutional committees.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs, workshops, and conferences, enhancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- State of Louisiana License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Eligibility for Louisiana Prescriptive Authority as outlined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
