As a Crisis Intervention Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting clients who have experienced trauma or crisis situations. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and connect them with local resources.
Essential Duties:
- Assisting clients in becoming aware of existing social and other support services in the community
- Modeling healthy coping skills and providing non-clinical crisis support
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and linking them to formal recovery supports
