Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical practice and supervision of nursing support staff, ensuring compliance with all clinical medical policies and directives.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical and supervisory oversight of clinical support staff, including weekly and monthly staffing schedules, performance evaluation, and delegation of duties.
- Training and Development: Provide clinical training and oversight of clinical support staff as necessary and evaluate skills.
- Leadership: Lead clinical support staff huddles and clinical support staff meetings, and provide orientation and training to new and existing clinical support staff.
- Quality Improvement: Part of the Quality Assurance/Improvement committee and lead discussion, take minutes, and provide documentation to the CEO.
- Patient Care: Ensure that clinical support staff provide care within the approved policies and procedures of Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, Inc.
- Program Management: Oversight of the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program and handle clinical patient complaints.
- Consultation: Provide consultation to the CEO to assess and provide clinical training for clinical support staff as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Work in conjunction with the Clinical Informatics Manager in using quality and quantitative reports to determine statistical measures.
- Education: Graduate of a Registered Nursing (RN) program, Associates (ADN) or bachelor's degree of Nursing (BSN) required.
- Experience: Two-five years of experience is preferred along with supervisory experience.
