Job Summary

Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected Industry Leader for this position. The Corporate Controls MES Engineer will focus on delivering business intelligence services, BI software development, and Power BI reports using our Control Systems, MES, and Power BI platforms. They will support new and upgraded Control System MES functionality at three facilities. Reporting to the Corporate Controls Engineering Manager or a Team Leader, they will collaborate with the team to ensure standards and processes for managing the Control System MES are followed. Mentoring will be provided to help understand the design and standards of the MES.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using AVEVA/Wonderware's Archestra Control System, Power BI, and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure standards and processes for managing the Control System MES are followed.
  • Provide mentoring and training to help understand the design and standards of the MES.
  • Support new and upgraded Control System MES functionality at three facilities.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, data models, and reports using Power BI and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
  • Develop and implement data security and compliance measures to ensure best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering-related discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably AVEVA/Wonderware.
  • Advanced HMI development skills within Wonderware (AVEVA) Archestra System Platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C# and .NET programming environment.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Servers, SQL Server, and SQL database systems.
  • Expertise with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Excel.
