Role Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the overall success and operational efficiency of the store, requiring focused attention to our brand values while serving our clientele.
This position is key in leaving a memorable impression on customers through friendly and efficient interactions at the cash wrap and maintaining an organized sales environment.
Accurate and effective execution of tasks, supporting the product flow from receipt to point of sale, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
CASH WRAP:
- Welcome customers warmly, making eye contact and introducing yourself.
- Engage genuinely with customers to understand their needs.
- Capture customer information where permitted.
- Maintain accuracy while operating the POS system.
- Ensure the cash wrap area is organized and clean.
- Suggest additional products and promote gift cards.
- Handle cash and POS media accurately, adhering to company policies.
- Create a lasting impression by thanking customers and encouraging their return.
- Represent the Coach brand positively.
STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE:
- Receive and process shipments and transfers.
- Notify management of new product arrivals.
- Verify store information by scanning cartons/transfers.
- Communicate discrepancies to management.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom daily, including remote warehouses.
- Manage stock levels and product organization in both back-of-house and sales floor.
- Conduct regular inventory counts as directed.
- Uphold company loss prevention standards.
SALES FLOOR:
- Regularly assess the sales floor for replenishment needs.
- Replenish merchandise in assigned areas.
- Respond to customer inquiries confidently, collaborating with the sales team or management as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
