Job Summary

Support the Farmington community by providing one-on-one support and outreach to individuals in need. As a Peer Recovery Partner, you will work with people at their homes, in the community, or at local treatment programs, sharing your personal experience and expertise to foster a healthy relationship centered on wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Peer Support relationships with individuals requesting support through one-on-one meetings and telephone conversations.
  • Practice a "multiple pathways to recovery" approach in a humanizing and uplifting manner.
  • Collaborate with the substance use peer support team to stay current on relevant training materials and best practices.
  • Manage conflict appropriately and receive training as a Recovery Coach and/or Intentional Peer Support Specialist.
  • Help carry out outreach and engagement activities, and advocate for individuals to receive needed community resources.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience providing one-on-one and/or group facilitation peer support is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when needed.

  • Base hourly rate: $19.53.
