Job Title: Security Officer II - Corporate Protection Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer II - Corporate Protection Specialist to join our team at Finding NWA. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel and visitors at our corporate premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to security systems, technologies, operating standards, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Continually monitor existing security systems and technologies for possible security leaks or fraud.
  • Work with management to ensure that employee safety is always being addressed and processes are updated to keep everyone out of harm's way.
  • Respond to medical events as needed and provide security measures and assistance to employees and visitors when incidents occur.
  • Perform security patrols and enforce identification procedures for employees and visitors.
  • Monitor remote sites via cameras and call boxes to identify and report any suspicious or out-of-place activity.
  • Communicate with internal and external personnel to resolve any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain a log of remote site issues, thefts, or lost/misplaced equipment and document all details of the event.
  • Identify, investigate, and write reports on accidents, incidents, or suspicious activities.
  • Conduct security awareness programs and monitor and document actual and potential security breaches.
  • Conduct routine monitoring of facilities, campus buildings, and/or parking lots to identify and resolve any violations, issues, or concerns.
  • Report to management as appropriate and complete additional training classes to cover employee safety and response.
  • Assist company managers in security and investigative matters and answer incoming calls of security concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1-2 years of security-related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Preferred Qualification: Experience in security, military, and/or law enforcement.
  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively.
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the position.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while dealing with difficult individuals.
  • Ability to make independent time-sensitive decisions.
  • Ability to remain objective.
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in learning new technologies/software applications.
  • Knowledge of basic employee safety.
  • Proficient time management skills.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Surveillance skills.
  • Willingness to work night shifts.
