**Job Title:** Expanded Function Dental Assistant

**Location:** Champlain Islands (South Hero) location, Community Health Centers of Burlington

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team at the Champlain Islands (South Hero) location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, including experience in direct restoration placement and provision of dental care services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Dentist in providing high-quality patient care, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dental environment. This includes sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an accredited dental radiology course, and five years' experience as a Certified Dental Assistant. You will also need to have successfully completed an accredited Expanded Functions Course.

Beyond your formal education and training, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to effectively communicate with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
