Role Overview
A key responsibility of the Electroencephalography Specialist is to conduct standard testing procedures on patients. We seek an individual with experience in EEG monitoring, as well as proficiency in patient care and electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for testing by ensuring proper calibration of equipment and adequate supplies.
- Review patient clinical data to understand testing referrals.
- Ensure patient comfort and explain testing procedures clearly.
- Conduct peripheral and cerebral vascular doppler examinations, including arterial studies.
- Administer sedation as prescribed by a physician.
- Perform EEGs and nerve conduction studies.
- Assist in training other staff members as necessary.
- Maintain and clean all testing equipment.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle clerical tasks as needed.
- Complete mandatory education and training to uphold departmental competencies.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework.
- Registered EEG certification.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.

- Ability to perform detailed work to ensure accurate test results.
