West Virginia Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team.
Job Summary:The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating special education services for students with behavior disorders and other exceptionalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement student data collection and progress monitoring systems
- Provide technical assistance to staff on special education behavior disorder programs
- Coordinate and facilitate participation in Eligibility Team Meetings
- Assign case managers to students with IEPs and maintain student special education data
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and caregivers to resolve issues and provide support
- Holds a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate with a Master's Degree or above in Special Education
- Five (5) years successful teaching experience
- Trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and holds certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
