Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

West Virginia Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating special education services for students with behavior disorders and other exceptionalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement student data collection and progress monitoring systems
  • Provide technical assistance to staff on special education behavior disorder programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate participation in Eligibility Team Meetings
  • Assign case managers to students with IEPs and maintain student special education data
  • Communicate with parents, guardians, and caregivers to resolve issues and provide support
Requirements:
  • Holds a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate with a Master's Degree or above in Special Education
  • Five (5) years successful teaching experience
  • Trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and holds certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
