Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Lead Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cardiopulmonary staff's performance, ensuring adherence to established procedures and policies. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the orientation and training of new staff members.
- Conducting annual performance evaluations and supporting professional development.
- Managing scheduling and special projects to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Performing both critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures.
- Coordinating respiratory care services with other medical departments.
- Monitoring service quality to ensure optimal patient care.
- Taking on patient assignments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Certification in Neonate Resuscitation.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
