Compounding Specialist

InfuCare Rx Inc on behalf of itself and its subsidiaries is seeking a highly skilled Compounding Technician to join our team. As a Compounding Technician, you will play a critical role in the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety.

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies, utilizing aseptic techniques and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to ensure accurate dosing and preparation of medications.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Record and maintain accurate records of pharmacy activities, including dispensing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and service.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding pharmacy setting.
• IV tech certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Experience working in an acute or specialty infusion pharmacy setting.
• Experience with advanced sterile compounding, including chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition, and antibiotics.
• Knowledge of pharmacy management systems and software.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program, certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
