Mill Production Specialist

The Production Puller is responsible for removing finished products from the packaging area and locating them to the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a forklift to remove finished products from packaging lines as needed
- Verify the lot, batch, and product numbers match the information on the pallet
- Assist production gatherers as needed
- Ensure all pallets are properly shrink wrapped
- Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean
- Supply production with packaging supplies (i.e. cardboard, bags for the label room, pallets for production, etc.)
- Consolidate rows in the warehouse making room for finished product
- Barcode, scan and properly locate product to the warehouse
- Understand and operate the palletizer and all downstream labeling and wrapping equipment
- Dump trash and recycle receptacles each shift
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
- Detailed oriented and has proven computer proficiency
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to operate a forklift and tow motor safely
