Nurse and Health Services Specialist

A School Health Program Coordinator is needed for the Monroe School District #103. The successful candidate will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating school health programs. Key responsibilities include providing instruction to staff, students, and parents on health practices, child care, and related subjects. Additionally, this position involves serving as a resource for student health management strategies, monitoring student health care plans, and performing other related functions.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position working a schedule in coordination with the District student calendar. Salary is based on the current salary schedule for Registered Nurses in the Monroe School District #103, which ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as optional benefits such as life insurance, long-term disability, and flexible spending arrangements. As part of the Public School Employees of Monroe collective bargaining unit, this position offers a comprehensive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) certification and prior experience in adolescent, pediatric, or school nursing. Additional qualifications include a valid First Aid/CPR card, Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint clearance, and I-9 employment eligibility. This role requires effective communication skills, ability to work with diverse groups, and strong problem-solving capabilities. The successful applicant will also be required to complete all mandatory district trainings within specified deadlines.
