We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a rapidly growing home healthcare company and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Job OverviewThis position will involve conducting evaluations, assessing home environments, and developing plans of care to improve speech and language function. You will work closely with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language deficits
- Develop and implement plans of care to improve patient outcomes
- Provide direct speech services to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Certification of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech Language Hearing Association
- Licensure as a speech therapist in the state of New Mexico
- At least one year of experience in acute care settings or equivalent
