MRG Exams, a premier service provider of independent medical examinations, seeks a skilled Physiatrist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through our secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive assessments on each veteran.

The Role

">

You will complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA. Please note that this is an assessment role, not a treating position, and you will NOT make disability determinations, which are made by the VA. Your average workload will involve assessing 4 Veterans per day, with a hybrid schedule of telehealth and face-to-face interactions, working 3 days a week.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must hold a current license as a Physiatrist and be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, you should possess excellent typing skills, be proficient at finding key data points within large electronic medical records, and have strong time management and analytical skills to meet deadlines and requirements.
