Your expertise will be crucial in providing module packaging solutions that meet the unique system-level performance, cost, and footprint requirements of our products.

Key Responsibilities

Define new optical package special characteristics based on unique system-level performance, cost, and footprint requirements. Conduct initial package layout and architecture scoping and sign off the final package design. Define and develop a MP assembly process, including initial proof of concept work, novel process, equipment, and materials development work, FMEA, process control plan, IQC and OQC, failure analysis, yield analysis, and enhancement work. Define packaging roadmap based on long-term packaged product requirements. Initiate and manage the supplier's pathfinding activities.

Requirements

BS with 5+ years of semiconductor packaging/assembly experience. Preferred qualifications include M.S or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or similar disciplines. Prior optical packaging experience with LED, photodiode, and optical component integrations and system interactions is highly desirable.
