Purdue University Northwest's College of Nursing is seeking a distinguished academic leader to fill the PS Gerard Endowed Professorship position. The successful candidate will be an accomplished researcher, educator, and mentor who can contribute to the college's mission of excellence in nursing education and research.
About the College of NursingThe College of Nursing is a National League for Nursing Center of Excellence and is home to the Indiana Center for Evidence-Based Nursing Practice, a JBI Affiliate Center. We offer a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including traditional BSN, second-degree accelerated BSN, online RN to BSN, MSN, and DNP programs.
Responsibilities- Conduct scholarly research in a field of expertise
- Teach graduate and undergraduate nursing courses in classroom and online environments
- Participate in university, professional, and community service
- Secure external grants to support research and educational initiatives
- PhD in a nursing-related field
- Record of research in peer-reviewed publications
- Research agenda that will secure competitive external funding
- Licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
