Job Summary

The Center for Humanistic Change is seeking a skilled Prevention Specialist to facilitate prevention programs and trainings in schools and community settings. This is a full-time, 12-month hourly position that requires daytime availability and occasional weekend and evening work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate prevention programs and trainings in schools for students of all ages
  • Provide community awareness and information dissemination at events and health fairs in the Lehigh Valley
  • Manage deadlines for paperwork and electronic data entry
  • Relate well to youth and adults
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with MS Teams
  • Juggle deadlines, think outside the box, and adapt to new situations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in education, psychology, counseling, public health, social work, or a closely related human services field
  • Relevant work experience or equivalent training
  • Reliable transportation and ability to do light lifting
  • Clearances and criminal record checks in compliance with state and local laws
