Pharmacy Role OverviewThe Department of Pharmacy at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is a full-service pharmacy providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to patients. Our team is responsible for the delivery and documentation of pharmaceutical care provided to patients using the medication use process.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing of medications to patients
- Preparation of sterile products and special pediatric dosages
- Chemotherapy preparation and antimicrobial stewardship
- Support of the electronic medical record and bedside medication verification
- Ongoing pharmaceutical education and participation in patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D
- Arizona State Pharmacist License in good standing
- Previous experience with Pharmacy computer systems preferred
