Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
About the Role- This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $83,000 to $143,500 per year, depending on experience.
As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will:
- Collect and interpret pertinent assessment data to identify patients' needs and potential problems.
- Develop, review, and revise individualized care plans within designated time frames.
- Evaluate patients' responses to care and initiate independent or collaborative changes as necessary.
- Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care delivery.
- Prepare patients for discharge or transfer by initiating appropriate steps throughout their hospitalization.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduation certificate from an accredited nursing program.
- A Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of oncology nursing experience.
