Kay and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on aircraft, including repairs, modifications, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on aircraft, including repairs, modifications, and inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems
- Repair and replace aircraft components, including engines, sheet metal, and structural components
- Inspect and test aircraft systems to ensure proper function
- Document maintenance activities and record keeping
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operation of aircraft
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Three years of aviation maintenance experience
- Individual (I) Aircraft Maintenance Qualification
- Ability to work shift schedules as required
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance
- Ability to climb ladders, raised platforms, and aircraft
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to handle small parts
- Ability to pass employment physicals
- Five or more years of H-1 rotary wing experience
- Seven or more years of rotary wing maintenance experience
- Familiarity with NAVAIR IETMS
- Four or more years of experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA
- Basic Corrosion Control Course
- Quality Assurance Safety Observer (QASO)
- Competitive hourly rate of $41.07
