We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Procedure Center at University Hospital in Madison, WI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing various medical procedures.
- Establish and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience, with a preference for experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations.
- Basic Life Support/CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, with a preference for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
